What Will You Be Doing
At reOS, we’ve developed a robust and scalable platform that handles complex rental processes end-to-end — and we’re continually expanding its capabilities. As a backend developer, you’ll be an integral part of a lean, highly skilled development team, contributing to a platform that’s transforming the residential rental industry.
You’ll take ownership of building new features, enhancing core functionality, fixing bugs, and continuously improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. From designing scalable architecture to supporting production environments, you’ll be involved across the entire product lifecycle — ensuring our platform remains stable, secure, and lightning-fast as we scale
Our Tech Stack
As a back-end developer you will primarily be exposed to:
- Golang
- Scala (Akka and Lagom)
- Iroha (Hyperledger)
- Kubernetes
- Kafka
- Banking integration
- Docker
- Google Cloud Platform
- Postgres
Our distributed platform is built on event sourcing (using the CQRS pattern), supports distributed tracing, and embraces a reactive, non-blocking programming model.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a mid to senior Back-End Software Developer, who is curious and always looking to learn. As a member of our Dev Team, you would need to display strong problem solving abilities (both individually and within a team context), be organised and self motivated.

It is essential that you have a minimum of seven years’ working experience within software development as a back-end developer. While not essential, you will get bonus points if you have a passion for DevOps or security.
